GOALS
Our main goal is, besides emotional support from the very first
moment of getting ill, to help and look after the patient with specific
information and support during the process of the long and difficult
treatment.
We assist in improving quality of life for the ones
in remission so that our children can enjoy being with healthy parents
for a longer time.
- Providing consultations with various experts – oncologists and rehabilitators for the ones in need
- Informing and assisting people with cancer in selecting and receiving help and medicines
- Introducing patients who have undergone operations,
chemotherapy and other treatments with their rights, opportunities and
privileges granted by the State which they can benefit from
- Encouraging
patients for regular preventive examinations in order to timely
intervene, early diagnose and successfully treat cancer
- Assisting in improving the quality of life for the ones in remission
- Initiating and assisting prevention practise in the region far from Varna
- Systematic work with institutions
- Publishing activities and distribution
- Partnerships with other non-governmental organizations
PRINCIPLES
THE PATIENT ORGANIZATION OF THE PEOPLE WITH CANCER AND FOLLOWERS - VARNA
- Does not financially support individuals in medical manipulations, operations or treatment
- Does not participate in companies and does not develop business activities
- Does not have any political or religious predisposition
MEMBERS AND VOLUNTEERS WORKING AT THE HOME OF THE PEOPLE WITH CANCER
- Do not get paid for their work
- Have a renewed value system
- Have priorities such as honesty, integrity, morality and strong desire to be useful and help others
