CHARITY CONCERT "IN THE NAME OF LIFE" |

22.10.2009, our highly respected and favorite pop-stars Yordanka
Hristova, Tony Dimitrova, Veselin Marinov and Stefan Diomov, the “5
Seasons” group, our fellow-citizen Shanel from Music Idle, and Niki
Binev, adherent and friend of our organization in Varna, and presenter
of almost all our events, gave with total selflessness and open love an
unforgettable concert in the Congress Hall at the Palace of Culture and
Sports in Varna under the motto “In the Name of Life”, supporting the
charity initiative of the patients’ organization of people with
oncological diseases, carried out under the auspices of Mayor Kiril
Yordanov. The extraordinary talent of our pop-stars, their friendliness and extremely warm contact with the audience called forth an emotional response in everybody in the hall. They proved their empathy and genuine human support in favour of a noble cause. Other participants were children from group IV–В of the daily kindergarten “Sinchets” in Varna, with teachers Biserka Yaneva and Iskra Todorova and Directress Nely Ivanova, and the Vocal Studio “DA” in Varna with leader Dono Tsvetkov.     These were very moving and special greetings for each of us! The lovely beaming faces of the children and the sincere joy in their eyes were the most gracious gift, which each of the audience in the hall received. The hall resounded with the magic of the optimistic effect coming from hundreds of smiles, strong emotion and joyful tears. Mr. Boyko Borisov, Prime Minister, and Mr. Kiril Yordanov, Mayor of Varna, addressed the organizers and all participants in the charity concert with welcoming speeches. Mr. Borislav Gutsanov, Chairman of the Municipal Council, read his welcoming speech, stating not only the moral support, but also the willingness for financial support of the Municipal Council, which promoted this successful finale of the charity project. The donations from the charity concert will be added to the already collected amount of 21 500 BGN in the collective bank account, opened with the special purpose of purchasing a portable echograph.
