Organizing Charity Christmas bazaar and dinner - on December 15th 2007 |

| Under the
motto "In the name of life” the Cancer Association and the Association
of Women with cancer in Varna gathered, as each year, friends, donors
and associates from all parts of the society in Varna at restaurant
Morska sirena. Members and followers of the patient organization prepared Charity Christmas bazaar with handmade products. The collected funds from the sales at the bazaars and the proceeds from the auction will be used for the costs of visiting children and adults with cancer, and to prepare the next bazaar in 2008. The main idea is not to collect money but make the cancer patients feel useful by the art-therapy, preparing various souvenirs - personalized gifts.    On the charity evening, the Honorary Chairman of the Granting fund "In the name of life" - Mr. Kiril Yordanov, trough the social director Dr. Markov, send personal money and very nice congratulatory letter to all participants. This year again, the family of Emilia and Radoslav Rashevi and other donors supported us financially. The charity dinner was honoured by many municipal councillors and representatives of the judiciary. At the celebration attended by volunteers, members of the organization, many public figures and businessmen and many people who have expressed their commitment to the Cancer Association and helped throughout the year were present.    The manager of Belora - Violeta Ilieva gave presents in the form of hats and announced a 30 percent discount for those undergoing chemotherapy and in need of a hat or other accessory. The evening ended with delicious tall cake - a gift from a friend of the organization - Krasi Bekyarova. |
