PROJECTS The work in our patient’s organization is done by volunteers and the coordinator of the center. From January 2006 to November 2006, our activities were sponsored by
the Tulip Foundation with executive director Maria Petkova, through the
The Small Grants Programme. 1. Training and sharing of experience and good practices among organizations of people with oncological diseases in Bulgaria . 
 2. Social integration and rehabilitation of women with oncological diseases. The organized activities were very effective and were realized in the best possible way by helping patients with cancer almost daily. We had personal consultations with psychologists, and we organized psychology trainings and meetings with experts on various topics which were of interest to new patients, patients in remission, and patients' relatives. We expended our abilities to offer support to more people in need who have asked for help. 
 Since May 2006 we have worked in fruitful cooperation with the Bulgarian Charities Aid Foundation (BCAF) through the programme “An Optimistic Look at NPOs and Local Resources”. A real product of our cooperation is the
development of a website and promotional materials - developing and
launching the first charity fund in the country for the community of
cancer patients and their supporters in Varna and the surrounding
region.  |
