ОCTOBER – BREАST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH |

On October 18th 2007 an initiative dedicated to the world’s breast cancer awareness month was held. Children from kinder gardens and orphanages Drugarche, Nadezda, Gavrosh , students, members, donors and partners of the organization, guests of local structures and many citizens of the city of Varna were present. From our Place of Hope we and our fellow citizens sent our commitment to all who already have cancer, by symbolically freeing hundreds of balloons. With the message "We succeeded, you will succeed, too!” we reminded of ourselves, the ones who have already dealt with the disease and supported women with similar fate. Trough the media, we urged our healthy citizens to ”Stop the fear of the examination today and win life for tomorrow!" We asked "Dear friend, did you do your prophylactic examination?" The initiative passed under the motto "In the name of life” under the patronage, the kind assistance, support and personal commitment of Mr. Kiril Yordanov - Mayor of Varna. |
