OUR
INITIATIVES
We visit children with cancer and lonely elderly people in hospitals.
We do that not only on the eve of a holiday but also on ordinary
weekdays.
A warm word and a hug do wonder!
We take small gifts with us,
made by participants in the courses in Art-therapy.
But above all we give our strength and hope!
We actively and gladly participate in almost all initiatives
organized on various occasions by children with cancer
treated at the oncology department of St. Marina Hospital.
We organize charity Christmas bazaars under the motto
"People with
cancer help people with cancer”.
Before the conduct of our charitable initiatives - charity sale and
dinner, on December 13th 2007 we organized a visit at the oncology
department for children of St. Marina Hospital.
We
also visited patients with similar health problems staying at the
department of Palliative Care, Base 2 of the Dispensary in Asparuhovo
and lonely members of our organization at their homes.
Under the motto "We want to give of our strength and hope"
we gave small presents to everyone for the coming, most anticipated
holidays. We sincerely wished those people to fight for their life with
much strength, faith and hope, to be able to go out of the battle with
the disease as winners.
We wanted to support them and let them know they are not alone in
their suffering. And because we succeeded to survive the disease, they
will do it, too! We prayed together with much affection for the healing
of all who suffer!
We wished to open our souls for warm feelings, good words and sincere
affection between us!
Miracles do happen at Christmas, why not rely on that?
